CPPS’ Workplace Violence Instructor Certification for manager training expands upon the foundations provided throughout the Instructor Certification—Awareness Training and offers additional concepts for enhanced instruction relevant for frontline manager or supervisors. The Workplace Violence Instructor Certification—Awareness Training is a prerequisite. This program is designed with instruction and deliverables consistent with ANSI ASIS WVPI AA-2020, OSHA Instruction 02-01-058, as well as industry best practices.

Course Overview
The online course total runtime is approximately 2 hours, including three presentations with topics that expand the learning-instructor’s WVPI working-knowledge, as well as offer guidance for instructing a frontline management audience:
1. Introduction to Threat Management
2. A Deeper Look into Intimate Partner Violence
3. Workplace Violence Prevention, Guidance for Managers and Leaders – Example Presentation
After concluding the final segment, individuals will complete a test. After successfully passing the test, the instructor certification requirements for managerial training will be completed. Individuals are provided 60 days’ access to the Learning Management System (LMS) to complete the online course.

Continuation and Refresher Training
After the 60-day access to the LMS expires, continuation training modules and refresher training of the full online course are available for $399.

Instructional Resources
In addition to the resources provided for Awareness Training, the following resources will be provided after the online course has been completed:
• An overview for utilizing the Manager Training instructor certification
• A Public Performance License letter authorizing perpetual use of CPPS’ curriculum and training videos as listed below:

o CPPS’ Courseware for live manager and supervisor training
